BMW has officially launched 2015 BMW M6 GranCoupe with subtle changes as compared to those seen on the outgoing model. These changes include new Adaptive LED head and tail lamps, an updated kidney grille and redesigned front bumper. Interior layout and cabin design stay much the same while updates are restricted to new telematics and infotainment system.
Engine specifications on the 2015 BMW M6 GranCoupe are also unchanged and the facelifted version continues to be powered by the same 4.4 liter V8 engine capable of 560 PS power and 680 Nm torque mated to a 7 speed M-DCT gearbox.
Acceleration from 0 to 100 is achieved in 4.2 seconds while top speed stands at 250 kmph. Competition to the 2015 BMW M6 Gran Coupe will come from the Audi RS7, Maserati Quattroporte GTS and Mercedes Benz E63 AMG.
Apart from launching the new car, BMW India also launched their first and exclusive BMW M Studio in Mumbai. Basically, it is on the same lines as Mercedes AMG Performance Center. At the BMW M Studio, customers get a bit of exclusivity for their M cars. You can also opt for M package option on select cars at this studio.
The opening of the BMW M Studio in Mumbai is the first of its kind in the country with 6 such studios to come up in Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Pune by the end of 2016.
