2015 Chevrolet Cruze goes LIVE at New York Motor Show


Refreshed in format and exclusive in design, the new 2015 Chevrolet Cruze made its debut at the 2014 New York Motor Show. New Chevrolet Cruze sedan gets a few changes to both its exterior and interior makeup though powertrain options stay same.

Infotainment and connectivity features abound in the form of text message alerts, Apple Siri integration and OnStar 4G LTE with Wi-Fi hotspot.

Exteriors of 2015 Chevrolet Cruze will come in four trim levels – LS, LT, RS and LTZ and will sport various styling cues inspired by the new Impala and 2014 Malibu. The new 2015 Chevrolet Cruze also includes a Cruze ECO and Cruze Diesel option. New exterior body colors and swept back headlights will give the new Cruze a sportier appeal while interiors will see a large number of occupant conveniences in the form of revised cup holders, trunk release located on center console and door lock switches located on front doors. Safety features will be augmented to a total of 10 standard airbags which include side impact, knee air bags for front passengers besides side blind zone alert, rear cross traffic alert, rear park assist and a rearview camera.

Engine details include 1.5 liter naturally aspirated and 1.4 liter turbocharged petrol engines. The former will be capable of 110 ps power and 146 Nm torque while being mated to a 5 speed manual or 6 speed automatic gearbox. The latter will deliver 150 ps power and 235 Nm torque mated to a 6 speed manual and 7 speed dual clutch automatic gearbox. For more information scroll through the press release below.
