2015 Etios Motor Racing online registration underway

Initial online registration for 2015 Etios Motor Racing has commenced. Drivers in the age-group of 15 to 28, and 29 years and above can apply. Applicants with previous racing experience will be at an advantage. Following first round of online application selection, on ground driver selection will be scheduled in May through a Go Karting round, and a final selection in the EMR car at Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore.

Drivers with previous EMR experience get direct entry in final selection round. Participant evaluation checks on driving skill, physical fitness, and consistency in lap times. Go-karting selection process will be conducted by six-time INRC Motor Rally Champion, and Formula 3 (India) champion, N Leelakrishnan, along with guest evaluators who are motorsport veterans.

Having seen some very good talent in the previous seasons, TKM is excited to get some fresh talent onboard for 2015 Etios Motor Racing.

To encourage more participation from women, selected lady drivers get a 50 pct waiver on registration fees i.i., Rs 25,000 against Rs 50,000 for male participants). Toyota along with Toyota Racing Development introduced Etios Motor Racing in India in 2012 to initiate racing at a grass root level in India and give young motorsport talent a platform.
