Ford Motor Company has revealed that 2015 Mustang will be offered in a choice of three engines which will include a 3.7 liter V6 offering more than 300 hp power and 270 lb/ft torque, a 2.3 liter EcoBoost 4 cylinder engine with more than 305 hp and 300 lb/ft torque while top of the line engine will be a 5.0 liter V8 offering more than 420 hp and 390 lb/ft torque.
Equipment on board the new Mustang will include push button start, back up camera, HID headlamps, 4.2” color display with SYNC and leather wrapped steering wheel. Optional items include a larger screen of 8”, Track Apps, electronic line lock and launch controls and choice of multiple drive modes. Advanced safety features including a blind spot monitoring system, adaptive cruise control, and forward collision warning.
A special 50 Years appearance package is being offered on the EcoBoost Premium and GT Premium trim level. These include a distinctive 50 Years rear badge, chrome-accented grille, alloy wheels and special seat with stitching accents on door trims.
No pricing of the 2015 Mustang EcoBoost or Mustang GT have been revealed as on date, but prospective buyers can easily gauge pricing based on pricing of the base model V6 fastback. Booking have commenced with the company promising delivery by fall as the 2015 Mustang comes in to compete with Chevrolet Camaro and Dodge Challenge.
