2015 Honda Aviator was launched at an event in Hyderabad named Fashion Flight. The standard variant is priced at INR 50,863 while the top-end Deluxe retails at INR 56,209 (both prices are ex-showroom Delhi).
Visual updates come in the form of new chrome insert on the revised apron, garnish on console cover, revised instrument console, clear lens indicators, 3D Honda badge and colour coordinated grab rail. The fully loaded variant receives 12-inch silver finished alloy wheels and front disc brake. Aviator continues to offer Combi Brake System.
Other noteworthy features include tubeless tires, maintenance free battery, viscous air filter and 20 litre underseat storage space. Apart from existing colour options of Rebel Red Metallic, Pearl Sunbeam White and Pearl Ingenious Black, 2015 Aviator is also available in a new Silver Strand Metallic shade.
Mechanically, the premium scooter remains untouched. The 109 cc air-cooled engine which incorporates HET (Honda Eco Technology) generates 8 bhp at 7,000 rpm and 8.77 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm.
With the automatic scooter segment booming, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India is hoping to maintain its market domination with the refreshed lineup. Honda will commence sales of 2015 Aviator towards the end of this month across the country.
