Two of the iconic fully faired motorcycles in the entry level segment, CBR 150R and CBR 250R from Honda Motorcycles have been updated with new colours and stickers for the model year 2015.
As always, Honda CBR 250R will continue to be available in 2 variants – Standard and C-ABS (Combined ABS). It is priced from INR 1,60,201 for the standard variant and INR 1,89,208 for the ABS variant. These are the ex-showroom, Delhi prices. On-road Delhi prices are INR 1,75,913 and INR 2,07,581 respectively.
Speaking about the CBR 150R, it is priced from INR 1,23,183, ex-showroom, Delhi; while on-road Delhi price is at INR 1,35,413. (On road price does not include optional items like – Accessories, Extended warranty, AMC.)
Both bikes continue with the same stance as seen ever since they were launched in 2011-12; so are the on board mechanics. What has changed is the introduction of new graphics & refreshed colors. CBR 250R new colours are Sports Red, Black and Pearl Amazing White, while CBR 150R new colours are Candy Palm Green, Jazzy Blue Metallic and Sports Red.
Speaking about the engine, Honda CBR 150R is powered by the same 149cc liquid cooled engine offering 18.28 bhp peak power while the 250R retains its 249cc engine capable of producing 26.15 bhp power.
