Simultaneously being held across 8 cities in New Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai, Ahmedabad and Indore; RevFest is first of its motorcycle festival. Here, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India unveiled five new motorcycles – CBR150R, CBR250R, CBR650F, Livo and Hornet 160R.
Honda RevFest is being held at prominent venues in each of the 8 cities with several artists in attendance. The Pragati Maidan event will see Kailasa, Nasya and Faridkot performing while Mumbai events are being held at Andheri Complex with performances by Papon & The East India Co, Ankur & The Ghalat Family.
Honda CBR150R which is among one of the five bikes being revealed at Honda RevFest 2015 will receive only cosmetic updates with new colour schemes and will continue to sport same design and engine specifications. Honda CBR150R is powered by a 149.4cc single cylinder cooled engine offering 16.9 PS power while torque has been increased from 12.6 Nm to 13 Nm. The engine is mated to a 6 speed gearbox. Top speed stands at 131 kmph.
Expected to be launched in the coming months, just before the Diwali festival season starts, Honda CBR150R new colour variant is expected to be priced at a premium of Rs 2,500 over the regular variant. Once launched, it will rival the likes of Yamaha R15.
