Honda CBR250R new colour scheme was unveiled today at Honda RevFest 2015, which is being held across 8 cities in the country, wherein the CBR150R, New CB Hornet 160, Livo and 650F will also be in attendance.
Honda CBR250R along with CBR150R will receive cosmetic updates while they will continue to sport same design and engine specifications. Powered by the same 249.6cc engine offering 27.8 bhp power at 9,000rpm and 23 Nm torque at 7,500rpm, the engine is mated to a 6 speed gearbox. In all probability, Honda will be offering the CBR250R with ABS while it will also be offered as a non-ABS variant.
The current generation Honda CBR250R was first launched in 2011. Assembled only in India and Thailand, it is one of the most refined quarter litre sports bike on offer in the market today, claims Honda. In India, Honda CBR250R rivals the likes of KTM RC200, Kawasaki Z250, Kawasaki Ninja 300, Hyosung GT250R, and Bajaj Pulsar RS200.
The new coloured Honda CBR250R unveil is part of the 15 new launches planned by Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India during 2015. Apart from meeting local demand, India made Honda CBR250R is also exported to markets of Latin America such as Mexico, Chile and Peru.
