To launch petrol and diesel engine options, 2015 Honda Jazz will take on Hyundai Elite i20 and Volkswagen Polo.
New Jazz shares a number of components with the new City, which along with 90 percent localisation level, will allow the company to keep prices affordable and competitive. It will be launched in petrol automatic, petrol manual and diesel manual variants; all of which are expected to be priced between INR 5-8 lakhs. (petrol engine is 1.2l iVTEC, diesel engine is a 1.5l iDTEC)
2015 Honda Jazz will boast of an aggressive exterior design with a City line front grill and headlamp assembly. Large air vents are to be seen on bumper while at the rear new 3D effect tail lamps are evident. The base variant gets 15” steel wheels while top end variant sports alloy wheels. Top end variant of 2015 Honda Jazz will boast of features such as ABS, EBD and dual front airbags.
Seen in the photos, Jazz here is seen with Michelin tyres, but the spare tyre is from MRF.
To be launched in the premium hatchback segment, 2015 Honda Jazz will receive touchscreen Audio Visual Navigation system, paddle shifters (CVT variant) and Bluetooth enabled music system with steering mounted controls. The new Jazz also gets a longer wheelbase contributing to additional 30mm legroom as compared to that seen on its earlier model.
The diesel variant of 2015 Honda Jazz is slated to set a new benchmark where fuel efficiency in the premium hatchback segment is concerned. In this segment, Maruti Swift facelift currently holds the title offering 25.2 kmpl, 2015 Honda Jazz is slated for even better fuel efficiency.
