2015 Hyundai i30 facelift was officially unveiled in December 2014. But at that time no details in regards to its features, engine and price were revealed. They are now revealed.
New 2015 Hyundai i30 facelift price ranges from £15,195 – £24,695 (INR 14.58 lakhs- 23.71 lakhs ) for the five door hatchback, while the i30 Turbo variant is priced at £22,495 (INR 21.59 lakhs). Order books will open February 26 2015, while deliveries will start in March 2015.
Engine specs being offered on the Hyundai i30 facelift include a four cylinder 1.4 liter naturally aspirated engine offering 100 hp power while a more powerful 1.6 liter engine offering 120 hp peak power is also on offer. Where diesel engine options are concerned, the Hyundai i30 facelift will be powered by a 1.6 liter CRDi turbodiesel engine offering 110 hp and 136 hp. Both these CRDi engines are mated to a new seven speed dual clutch gearbox.
To compete with other hatchbacks such as Peugeot 308 and Kia Proceed GT, Hyundai i30 facelift entry level S trim will receive Bluetooth, USB, AUX in, keyless entry and electric front windows. The SE trim, which starts at £16,495 will sit on 16 inch alloys and will be seen with cruise control, leather trimmed steering wheel and rear parking sensors along with Sat Nav, electric folding wing mirrors and rear view camera.
Top of the line Hyundai i30 Premium trim sits on 17 inch alloys and receives features such as automatic lights, electronic parking brake, dual zone climate controls and heated front seats and steering wheel along with smart key with engine start/stop button.
It is for the first time that Hyundai is launching i30 Turbo. It will be powered by a 1.6 liter turbocharged engine offering 186 PS peak power and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 8 seconds. On board equipment will include turbo sports body kit, turbo badge and perforated leather steering wheel in red. Interiors will also boast of satellite navigation, sports seats in red and black and it will sit on 18” alloy wheels.
