2015 Indian Roadmaster features push button engine start/stop, LED lights, heated seats and grips and electronically controlled adjustable windshield. The luxury cruiser will also sport remote locking saddlebags and an adjustable floorboard. Saddle bags will have capacity to store 65.1 liters and trunk will have capacity of an additional 64.4 liters thus making the Indian Roadmaster ideally suited for long distance touring.
Indian Roadmaster has ground clearance of 140mm and overall height of 1572mm, width of 1012mm and length of 2656mm. It sits on a wheelbase of 1668mm and has seat height of 673mm. It receives Dunlop Elite 3 130/90B16 73 H tyres in the front and Dunlop Elite 3 180/60R16 80 H tyres at the rear while wheels are CAST 16”X 3.5″ front and 16″ X 5″ rear.
Indian Roadmaster is powered by a 1.8 liter Thunder Stroke engine offering 138.9 Nm torque and comes in with luxury features such as Horizon Power Windshield improving airflow, offering weather protection and reducing glare.
2015 Indian Roadmaster, a fine luxury touring motorcycle is being offered in three colors of red, ivory cream and black. At Rs 37 lakhs, this is the most expensive Indian Motorcycle on offer. Other Indian Motorcycles on offer in India include Indian Scout at Rs 12 lakhs, Indian Chief Classic at Rs 25.50 lakhs, Indian Chief Vintage at Rs 28.50 lakhs, and Indian Chieftain at Rs 32 lakhs. All imported and sold as CBUs.
All these beauties are available at their dealership in Gurgaon, which opened last May. This year, Indian Motorcycle plans to open two more dealerships in the country. These will be set up in Bangalore and Mumbai.
