2015 Mahindra XUV500 facelift rendering shows a clean visual of the updated SUV sans the heavy distortion in the recent spy shots. New XUV500 is just as imposing, maybe a bit more, but is it overdone?
Mahindra XUV500 is indeed known for its hostile looks and muscular detailing, but the dosage is quite abnormal as many would say. New 2015 Mahindra XUV500 facelift was expected to retain the exact design or not be subjected to all-the-more complex bodywork, but that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore.
The SUV gets new headlamp detailing with prominent chrome trim inside, new front grille pattern, highly conspicuous chrome surrounds on fog lamp sections, and redesigned front bumper with silver highlighted scuff plate.
All drama is focussed on the front end of 2015 Mahindra XUV500 facelift only, while side and rear are left with basic changes, like new alloy wheel design and larger number plate garnish obviously in chrome.
Apart from exteriors, minor updates to the elements inside the cabin and under the hood are highly anticipated. Launch is expected to take place by May 2015.
