2015 Mercedes-Benz B Class and C Class new images

The first to be launched of the two will be the new C Class. Before the car is officially launched, Mercedes Benz is expected to debut the car officially on 16th December, that is three days from now. To be offered in a choice of three engines, C180 with 1.6l petrol turbo offering 155 hp, C200 with 2.0l petrol turbo offering 183 hp, and C220 CDI with 2.2l diesel turbo offering 168 hp.

2015 Mercedes Benz C Class will also be lighter by about 100 kgs than the outgoing variant. Auto55 reveals that the new C Class features a longer wheelbase, and is also longer. The wheelbase is increased by 80 mm to 2840 mm, while the overall length is increased by 100 mm to 4690 mm.

Speaking about 2015 Mercedes Benz B Class, the compact facelift bears square headlight designs with lower LED daytime running light strips. Front bumper design has been modified to sport a more tapered design as have been tail lights. Ground clearance has been lowered, while rear end also sees integrated exhaust pipes with revised apron and this is all that could be interpreted about exteriors of the B Class from photos received.

The new Mercedes Benz B Class facelift should not sport any significant changes in engine specifications and will continue with the same turbo petrol and diesel engines mated to a 6 speed manual gearbox and 7 speed dual clutch automatic gearbox with power transmitted to front wheels.

Interiors have also been modified to sport superior materials. Various color options will be available while the updates where technology and infotainment features will also be made known only once the refreshed B Class heads to showrooms across Europe in early 2015.
