7 new Jeep concepts unveiled at 2015 Easter Jeep Safari

The 44th annual Easter Jeep Safari takes place from March 28 to April 5 and the Jeep lineup includes seven new concepts which include the Jeep Chief, Jeep Staff Car, Jeep Wrangler Africa, Jeep Grand Cherokee Overlander, Renegade Desert Hawk, Cherokee Canyon Trail and Red Rock Responder.

 

Jeep Chief is inspired by the original Cherokee from the 1970s and receives an Ocean Blue exterior. True to its ‘Surfers’ theme the new Chief is seen with chrome bumpers, a retro inspired grille, 17” slotted mag wheels and Dana 44 axles with lockers and is powered by a 3.6 liter Pentastar V6 engine.

 

Jeep Staff Car is inspired by Jeep military service vehicles with a host of military accents both on its exterior and interior. These include a stretched canvas roof, 16” steel wheels and 35 inch Firestone NCT military tyres. Its interiors sport bench seats, a 2 inch lift kit and Dana 44 axles.

 

Jeep Wrangler Africa is ideally suited for back country and overland expeditions and sports a Desert Tan exterior paint, elevated ground clearance and power step rock rails. The concept also receives extended rear body, high top roof and 17” steel wheels with 35” BF Goodrick Mud Terrain tyres and is powered by a 2.8 liter diesel engine mated to an automatic transmission.

 

With its Sage Green exterior paint, 18” milled wheels and BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A tyres, Jeep Grand Cherokee Overlander is well fitted for its cross country and adventure operations. It receives a 3.0 liter diesel V6 engine mated to an 8 speed Torqueflight transmission.

 

Jeep Renegage Desert Hawk is seen in Dark Tan with Mopar trailer hitch receiver and roof rack while interiors are fitted with Mopar Katzkin seat covers and Mopar all weather floor mats. It is powered by a 2.4 liter Tigershark engine with MultiAir2 mated to a 9 speed automatic transmission.

 

Jeep Cherokee Canyon Trail is in a Desert Tan exterior with a contrasting Satin Black hood and is designed for more enhanced off roading facilities proudly displaying Jeep Performance Body and 2015 Four Wheeler of the Year decals. Engine specs include a 2.4 liter Tigershark MultiAir2 1-4 engine mated to a 9 speed automatic transmission.

 

7th and last concept at 2015 Easter Jeep Safari is Jeep Wrangler Red Rock Responder designed as a support vehicle to respond the emergencies with spare parts and tools in its hold. Well equipped with built in drawers and compartments for storage purposes, the Jeep Safari is in a Vibrance Responder Red exterior paint with 17” beadlock wheels, LED headlamps and foglamps besides Wrangler Rubicon 10th Anniversary Edition steel bumpers at both front and rear and37” BF Goodrich Mud Terrain T/A KM2 tyres. Engine specs include a 3.6 liter Pentastar V6 engine with automatic transmission.
