2015 Nissan Micra X-Shift CVT has been launched in India today at a price of INR 6.4 lakhs (ex-showroom, New Delhi. It aims to make the automatic option more accessible. Based on the XL trim, the new variant is positioned below the existing top end XV CVT variant.
Micra X-Shift also celebrates the car’s 5th year anniversary in India and is limited to 750 units. To justify its limited edition tag, it sports additional styling elements and convenience features.
Only 750 units of the limited edition automatic variant will be sold. It gets a few additional visual elements and features too.
The limited edition automatic hatchback can be identified by matte black roof wrap, decals on the sides and chrome finisher for exhaust tip. Inside, LED scuff plates, silver finished door arm rests and branded floor mats are new. In terms of features, Micra X-Shift is offered with reverse parking sensors. All these features come at no extra cost.
2015 Micra X-Shift CVT has an ARAI certified mileage of 19.34 kmpl.The limited edition Micra also gets all the features that are available in top-end XV such as ABS, EBD, Break Assist and driver arm rest.
Powered comes from a 1.2-litre three cylinder petrol engine which generates 76 PS and 104 mm of torque. The X-CVT comes with Adaptive Shift Control which offers Sport, Normal and Economy modes. The automatic variant has an impressive ARAI rated mileage of 19.34 kmpl which is claimed to be the best-in-class figure.
Nissan is pitting the 2015 Micra X-Shift CVT against the likes of Honda Brio AT and Hyundai Grand i10 AT.
