Volkswagen India will officially unveil the new 2015 Vento facelift in the country later this month, states a new report on Autocar India.
Already spied on multiple occasions around Pune, the new 2015 Volkswagen Vento features minor cosmetic changes on its exterior and subtle updates on the inside.
Exterior features on board the new Vento includes a new front triple slat grille, low set (more prominent) VW badge, a flatter bonnet and new foglamp enclosur, and new wing mirrors with integrated indicators are also seen. Changes at the rear include a redesigned boot lid and horizontal chrome strip across the boot. Interiors could sport changes in upholstery while colours could include a darker shade of beige.
As far as engine powering the new Vento is concerned, do not expect any change. 2015 Volkswagen Vento will continue to be powered by one diesel and two petrol engine options. Diesel engine is in the form of a 1.5 liter four cylinder, turbo, with peak power of 105 PS and peak torque of 250 Nm. This engine is mated to a 5 speed manual or 7 speed DSG.

Petrol engine options are 1.2 liter four cylinder turbo, direct injection, petrol engine offering 105 PS peak power and 175 Nm peak torque, mated to a 7 speed DSG and a 1.6 liter four cylinder petrol engine with peak power of 105 PS and 153 Nm peak torque, mated to a 5 speed manual transmission.
Just like the old Vento, new Vento will also be produced in Russia and India. It is from here that the Vento will be exported to the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and South East Africa.
