2016 BMW 7 Series features

BMW has revealed a set of new videos and photos, explaining their new generation flagship sedan, the 7 Series in a much better way.

2016 BMW 7 Series is all set to make its appearance at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2015 on 15th of September. The new flagship saloon not only promises enhanced luxury but also comes packed up to the brim with cutting edge technologies and features. Here are a few video highlights of the G11 7er recorded by Paultan.

Android powered Samsung tablet

The secondary i-Drive knob at the rear has been replaced by a funky Samsung tablet that runs on Android. Termed as BMW Touch Command, the tablet is stowed in the rear arm rest and incorporates various in-car functions like communication, entertainment, interior lighting, shades, seat adjustment and navigation. The tablet also allows the users to use Google Play and download their favorite apps.

BMW Display Key

This is probably going to be the most talked about feature of the new Bimmer. The cool Key Fob has a touch sensitive color display which lets you access different vehicle settings and statuses. It even allows the driver to remotely start the car and execute an automatic parking! The video shows how intuitive and futuristic the device is.

Remote Control Parking

This is another feature that sets the 2016 7 Series apart from its rivals. This feature involves the Display Key. A button on the key fob needs to be pressed and held while the arrow keys on the display enables the user to command the car. The system is engineered to detect obstacles automatically and act accordingly.

The feature-rich 2016 BMW 7 Series would make its Indian debut early next year, most probably at the Auto Expo in Feburary.
