GM has unveiled a range of four 2016 Chevrolet Camaro custom models that are destined for this year’s SEMA tuning festival. Each of the four concepts demonstrate the new Camaro’s ability to adopt a wide array of aftermarket custom elements.
Chevrolet Camaro Performance Concept
Based on a white Camaro SS, the Performance concept adds red accents inside out, bumper extensions, blackened badges and taillights, billet-cut 20-inch forged lightweight aluminum wheels, red engine cover, a suspension lowering kit in addition to performance upgrades like new air intake, exhaust system and Brembo front upgrade kit with six-piston calipers.
Chevrolet Camaro Hyper Concept
The Hyper concept is swathed in a Hyper Blue metallic exterior paint which contrasts the ceramic white interior appointments. It offers heritage inspired design elements such as a white rally stripe and Camaro badges on the fenders. It also gets 20-inch forged aluminium wheels and RS-spec rear spoiler. Further, it carries a plethora of accessories.
Chevrolet Camaro Black Concept
Finished in Mosaic Black Metallic exterior paint job, the Black concept adopts several accessories like hood vents, black-outlined SS badges, black-tinted windows, special Black Edition logos on the fenders, 20-inch aluminium alloy wheels, and steering wheel and console covers. It also features suspension lowering kit apart from upgraded brakes, air intakes and exhaust.
Camaro Krypton Concept
The Krypton concept is easily the loudest of the lot. Finished in electroluminescent Krypton Green paint, the body panels of the car feature bow-tie emblems that can be illuminated by a flip of a switch. It’s also kitted with the RS accessory package.
