2016 Chevrolet Spark (known as Chevrolet Beat in India) has been spotted testing quite a number of times over the past year. This almost-completely revealing test mule gives the first clear insight into the upcoming model’s styling and appeal.
This could be the production version of next generation Spark as it looks fit and finished, and ready to hit the streets. Also since the model has been on road tests for a long time. So it is safe to say that the model will be formally unveiled this year as a 2016 model. The all-new Chevy Spark is actually a sister-model to Opel Karl and Vauxhall Viva, that were unveiled online in December 2014. Set for European market, the last two will be premiered at 2015 Geneva Motor Show next month
Not much about the new-gen Spark is known. It is expected to receive General Motors’ new 3-cylinder 1.0 litre petrol engine. It is also possible that a replacement will be announced for the existing battery-powered Chevrolet Spark EV.
