Ducati Diavel Carbon continues to be powered by the 1,198.4cc Testastretta 11-degree Dual Spark engine offering peak power of 162 hp. It also has Ducati Riding modes and Ducati Traction Control system. The new Diavel is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 2.6 seconds to reach a top speed of 270 kmph.
Pronounced “Dee-ah-vel”, Ducati Diavel Carbon receives a host of carbon fiber elements and lightweight accents and forged wheels due to which weight stands at 234 kgs. Sporting a new Asphalt Grey color with red stripes and Dark Chrome paintwork, the Ducati Diavel Carbon also receives Zircotec coated exhaust and brushed stainless steel silencer covers.
The new 2016 Ducati Diavel Carbon is being offered in three different trims – Sport, Touring and Urban. The Sports Pack will include carbon rear mudguards, carbon fibre instrument and headlamp casings besides biller aluminium brake and clutch fluid reservoir caps.
The Touring Pack will see additions of a set of panniers and back rest along with a Plexiglass windshield while the Urban Pack includes forged aluminium wheels racing billet aluminium footpegs and carbon fuel tank protector along with clutch casing cover, billet aluminium frame plugs and front sprocket casing.
With the 2016 Ducati Diavel Carbon expected to be launched at approximately $21,000 (approx. INR 13,84,539), the company will also be releasing a Dark Stealth version with all black accents that include black tank, black frame and black wheels.
Post global, the new Ducati is also expected to be launched in India. The current Diavel in India costs INR 14.21 lakh, while the Carbon costs INR 17.43 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
