2016 Honda Amaze will also get new colour option – Spy Shots

Honda Cars India is all-set to update their compact sedan Amaze. Spied before its launch on 3rd March 2016 Honda Amaze will come with a refreshed exterior and updated interior. It will also get a new blue colour option, which is currently on offer with the Brio.

Updates on the exterior of 2016 Honda Amaze facelift includes a meatier front bumper inspired from current Honda Mobilio RS. It also gets a new front grille with thick chrome grille and Honda badge in the center. You can also notice an extra chrome slat below the chrome grille, which is unique to the new Amaze. Side profile and alloy design remain unchanged while at the rear the taillights have been revised.

On the inside, 2016 Honda Amaze gets a new dashboard. This basically is the biggest and also a much-needed update. Gone is the mundane looking dashboard, which is now replaced by more premium dashboard inspired from Honda City. The quality of dashboard material has also been upgraded. Steering wheel remains unchanged.

Center console now gets a piano black finish which houses the infotainment system and AC controls. Instrument panel too has been changed and is more like the new Honda City. Dashboard also gets silver accents, giving a more premium touch.

2016 Honda Amaze will be offered with the same petrol 1.2 liter and 1.5 liter diesel engine options which are currently on offer. The price might be increased due to improvements added. Once launched, it will compete with Maruti DZire, Hyundai Xcent, Tata Zest, Ford Figo Aspire and the upcoming VW Ameo.
