2016 Honda CB150R images leaked ahead of global premiere
2016 Honda CB150R will make its official presence felt in Indonesia later this month. The leaked images reveal a chiseled fuel tank, aggressive headlight cluster and turn indicators in the front. This gives the new CB150R a completely new look as compared to the existing variant.
Further, features at the rear include a new tail lamp cluster with LED elements. 2016 Honda CB150R will also sport a full LCD unit and instrument cluster strikingly similar to that seen on the Unicorn 160, which was launched in India earlier this year.
Where engine specifications on board the 2016 Honda CB150R is concerned, report suggest that it will be powered by a 149.16cc single cylinder liquid cooled engine. This engine is a derivative of the 149.4cc engine which is seen on board the India-spec CB150R, which generates 18.28 bhp power at 10,500 rpm and 12.66 Nm torque at 8,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6 speed gearbox.
Making its presence felt in Indonesia, the company has not revealed any indications of the 2016 Honda CB150R making its way to India, where HMSI already sells the CB Trigger. However, if it does, the 150cc naked bike will find many competitors in the form of new Bajaj AS150, Yamaha’s FZ and the Suzuki Gixxer.
