New Hyundai HB20 is powered by the same two engine options which were on offer with older HB20. These are 1.0 liter flex fuel engine generating 80 hp power and a 1.6 liter engine offering 128 hp power. These engines are mated to a new 6 speed automatic transmission.
Where external features are concerned, 2016 Hyundai HB20 hatchback sports a new hexagonal grille with chrome surrounds, a redesigned bumper and fog lamp housing with chrome accents. The top spec model receives projector headlights and LED DRLs. New wheel designs are also seen along with a redesigned bumper and revised tail light clusters at the rear.
Interiors of 2016 Hyundai HB20 hatchback reflect the brand’s “Fluid Sculpture” design philosophy. Sporting a Dark Brown color scheme, the dashboard is dominated by a 7.0” touchscreen multimedia system which supports all Apple, Samsung and LG devices while In Car Link functions can be used for applications such as Google Maps, Waze, Spotify and Deezer. Comfort features include new seat coverings in optional brown leather, automatic air conditioning and automatic retractable side mirrors.
2016 Hyundai HB20 hatchback will go on sale in Brazil from 10th of October 2015 while pricing will commence from $9,665 (INR 6,38,856) for the base model. Hyundai HB20S sedan and HB20X crossover versions will also get updates later on.
