2016 Jaguar XJ L has been launched in India today. It is now on sale at all authorized Jaguar retail outlets in the country. Being locally produced at the company plant in Pune, the new Jaguar XJ L is being presented with the very best in onboard luxuries, cutting edge technologies and craftsmanship. It is viewed for its power, performance and outstanding features.
The new 2016 Jaguar XJ L saloon in India is being offered in three variants. These include Jaguar XJ L 2.0 liter Portfolio petrol variant priced at INR 99.23 lakh, Jaguar XJ L Premium Luxury 3.0 liter diesel variant priced at INR 98.03 lakh and the range-topping Jaguar XJ L Portfolio 3.0 liter diesel priced at INR 105.42 lakh.
Engine specifications onboard the new Jaguar XJ L include a 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine offering 177 kW (240 hp) power and 340 Nm torque. It also gets a 3.0-liter turbo diesel engine offering 221 kW (300 hp) power and 700 Nm torque wherein added performance is evident. With this engine the new Jaguar XJ sees acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.2 seconds while in the 2.0 liter 177 kW petrol engine acceleration is achieved in 7.9 seconds.
Boasting of outstanding exterior features that include full LED headlights and J-Blade signature daytime running lights, the new Jaguar XJ L also gets chrome accents on windows and low and long waistline. Safety features abound on the new Jaguar XJ L with 360 degree Park Distance Control, Surround Camera System, Park Assist, Panoramic Sun Roof, Navigation System and LED rear lights. The Jaguar XJ L also gets All Surface Progress Control (ASPC) and Deployable Rear Seat Entertainment System with 25.90 cm HD Screens along with InControl Touch Pro and 31.24cm Instrument Panel Display.
Jaguar XJ L is dominated by multi function seating. Front seats are fine tuned for electric adjustment and receives 5 various massage programs. Rear seats are reclining with 3 massage functions and memory, while each of the seats return to upright position when doors are opened. Interiors feature LED reading lights, drop-in foot rests and folding business tables. The central armrest houses multimedia remote and seat control system besides providing storage spaces. Rear windows are fitted with blinds for added comfort and privacy.
Entertainment on board the 2016 Jaguar XJ L is via a Meridian 825W Digital Surround Sound System with 20 speakers and 2 subwoofers. Customers in India have the option of 8 exterior colours that include Polaris White, Rhodium Silver, Ammonite Grey, Dark Sapphire, Odyssey Red, Aurora Red, British Racing Green and Ultimate Black.
