It has been four years since Lexus refreshed its largest flagship SUV. The 2016 Lexus LX 570 facelift comes in with sporty exteriors and brand new interiors while engine specifications remain the same. The LX 570 receives new LED headlights and sharp grille design while it also gets a new bumper, tail lamps and new 20” 10 spoke wheels. Two new exterior colors have also been introduced that include Atomic Silver and Nightfall Mica while a new panoramic roof view camera is offered as standard.
Interiors boast of a luxurious leather upholstery and updated infotainment system expanded to 12.3 inches. New wood trims include Matte Walnut, Linear Dark Mocha, Linear Espresso and Dark Brown Walnut.
Abounding in safety features, the new Lexus facelift comes in with pre collision detection with pedestrian detection, lane departure monitoring, intelligent high beams and adaptive cruise control. Safety features also include blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert. The Lexus LX570 facelift park assist system is a standard fixture along with SmartAccess key card.
2016 Lexus LX 570 Rear DesignNo changes are seen on engine specifications on board the 2016 Lexus LX 570 facelift which continues to be powered by a 5.7 liter V8 engine offering 383 hp power at 5,600 rpm and 403 Nm torque at 3,600 rpm. This engine allows acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph in 7.3 seconds while fuel efficiency is enhanced due to a new 8 speed transmission.
Towing capacity stands at 7,000 lbs. The 8 seater SUV comes with 10 standard airbags. The body on frame structure allows for better stability ensuring smooth ride and off road facilities where the driver can lock the center differential for driving over difficult terrain and splitting torque 40:60 under normal driving conditions.
The new 2016 Lexus LX 570 facelift comes in with 48 month/50,000 mile limited warranty with roadside assistance for 48 months, 72 months/70,000 miles powertrain and restraint system coverage and 72 month corrosion perforation protection coverage with no mileage limitations.
