2016 Mercedes Maybach Pullman unveiled before debut at Geneva
Detailed ahead of official launch, the 2016 Mercedes Maybach Pullman will be 6499 mm long, 1053 mm more than its S Class counterpart. It will also be 100 mm taller and sit on a wheelbase measuring 4418 mm thus offering passengers in the rear additional head and leg room which is the greatest in this segment. Interiors will be a class apart with a host of outstanding comfort features.
Executive reclining seats with powered footrest, electrically operated partition windows that can be altered between opaque and transparent at the touch of a button and seats which can be adjusted so that all four passengers can sit facing each other are the highlights of this new Maybach Pullman.
Stately in appeal and stylish in finish, 2016 Mercedes Maybach Pullman interiors are done up in choicest leather with wood trims and curtains. It receives a full length central console, a Burmester 3D surround system and entertainment at the rear is via an 18.5 inch display. Roof mounted instruments offer detailed information regarding temperature, time and speed to passengers at the rear.
2016 Mercedes Maybach Pullman is powered by a twin turbo 6.0 liter V12 engine with 530 PS peak power and 830 Nm peak torque. With the company paying more attention to comfort as compared to speed, further details were not yet revealed but deliveries will commence in 2016 while prices for un-armored models should be in the €500,000 ($570,465 / £371,645/INR 3,55,25,707) range.
