2016 Mitsubishi Outlander facelift will premiere at the New York Auto Show on Thursday April 2 in the North Hall (booth 260) at 11:30 am ET. 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander facelift is the brand’s first vehicle to debut its new design language. 2016 Outlander crossover UV features a range of engineering and design improvements.
Mitsubishi points to enhanced road performance owing to improved ride, handling and throttle response, and noise levels, alongwith a more functional interior. Mitsubishi says more than 100 changes have been put to effect in the new Outlander that’s taken design cues from PHEV Concept-S in front in regards to chrome use in the X-shaped grille that extends on top to outline the headlights. PHEV Concept-S was shown at the 2014 Paris Motor Show. The new version would look to improve Mitsubishi’s SUV performance in the US.
Mitsubishi has earlier shown the Mirage three-cylinder economy and hybrid Outlander at the New York Auto Show. Power, fuel economy and vehicle details should be made available on debut. Mitsubishi Motors North America last month reported Outlander sales at 1175 units for February 2015 (PY 1206 units).
