Built on Renault-Nissan Alliance’s Common Module Family platform, which it shares with Renault Espace MPV and 2016 Renault Megane. Once launched, 2016 Renault Talisman sedan and estate will replace Laguna and Latitude in the company line-up.
2016 Renault Talisman measures 4.85 mtrs in length, 1.87 mtrs in width, 1.46 mtrs in height and sits on a wheelbase of 2.81 mtrs. Exteriors of Renault Talisman sport C shaped LED DRLs and new LED headlights, while fog lamps and long LED rear lamps are also noticed. The sloping roofline and larger exhaust tips give the car a sporty look. Interiors are spacious and comfortable with 1,700 liters of space and easy to load cargo area.
2016 Renault Talisman boasts of advanced driver aids to include sports 4Contol, active damping and Multi Sense technology in Comfort, Sport, Neutral and Eco mode. It also gets R-Link 2 and Bose Surround Sound, which takes care of connectivity and entertainment.
Front passenger seats are offered with 10 pre-loaded seating adjustments. The seats offer four way electric lumbar adjustment and massage function, and six way adjustable headrests. Heated cushions and backs with setting memory for up to 6 persons ensures added comfort while interiors are done up in quality Nappa leather.
Both the Renault Talisman Sedan and Estate receive two petrol and three diesel engine options. These include 148 bhp and 197 bhp TCe turbo petrol engines mated to a 7 speed dual clutch automatic transmission and 109 bhp, 128 bhp and 158 bhp dCi diesel engines mated to 6 speed manual or 6 speed dual clutch automatic transmission.
