2016 Toyota Fortuner front fascia given away by Hilux spyshots
Set for global premiere in later part of 2015, next generation Toyota Fortuner and Hilux are undergoing various levels of road tests. Both high riders share highly similar design characteristics, except for subtle tweaks on bumpers or the like. Which is why we can ascertain how front fascia of 2016 Toyota Fortuner would look like, based on latest spy shots of next gen Toyota Hilux pickup.
Toyota has removed one centre slat from the current model’s front grille and has repositioned the brand badge to vertical centre of the assembly. New grille is flanked by sleeker headlamp units that are deep-set in the new facade. Further, the front fascia is completed by new bumper with large fog lamp recesses and trapezoidal lower air-dam cutout.
But design difference in new generation Toyota Fortuner will not end here. Rest of bodywork / shape of the SUV has not been clearly revealed, but camouflaged spy shots have indicated substantial changes, that includes rear end as well apart from cabin structure.
