To be launched in India next month as Toyota Innova Crysta.

2016 Toyota Innova was launched in Indonesia in November 2015, while launch in Malaysia and India is on the cards for 2016. Showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo in February, bookings in India for the same have opened at a down payment of INR 50,000 while deliveries are expected to start post launch in May 2016.

2016 Toyota Innova is being offered in three trims of G, V and Q. Engine options include a 2.4 liter GD diesel engine and a 2.0 liter VVT-I petrol engine.

In India, the new Innova where it is called Innova Crysta will get a 2.4 liter GD diesel engine mated to a 5 speed manual and 6 speed automatic transmission while it will also get a 2.0 liter petrol engine.

2016 Toyota Innova is being presented at 2016 Indonesian International Motor Show running from 11-14 March 2016, as a 7 seater model in a 2+2+3 seating format. It measures 4,735 mm in length, 1,830 mm in width and 1,795 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,750 mm. Seating is done up in striped fabric while wood trims are seen on dashboard, steering wheel, rear doors and central console.

Air vents are on offer for all seats while a button to control LED ambient lighting in the cabin is also on offer. Safety features abound on the new Toyota Innova MPV which has scored 4 stars in the ASEAN NCAP tests. These include LED projector headlights with LED DRLs, 7 airbags, Hill Assist Control and VSC. It also gets HAC, smart key and automatic power windows.

In India, the 2016 Toyota Innova Crysta could go on sale at a starting price of INR 10 lakh going upto INR 17 lakhs for the top end diesel variant.
