Toyota Innova Crysta variant-wise features and specs (Brochure)
New Toyota Innova Crysta promises to be a vastly improved version of what is already an accomplished product. Based on the second generation IMV platform, there are a sizable number of common components between new Innova, Fortuner and Hilux Revo.
Initial observation tell us that Toyota designers have settled for a conservative evolutionary styling approach, a closer observation indicates otherwise. The general silhouette may not have undergone much changes but the sheet metal design is subjected to radical makeover.
Gone are the mundane lines of current gen Innova. New Innova Crysta gets aggressive front fascia with sporty projector headlamps and twin chrome grille (that run into the headlamps) set in an hexagonal motif and large foglights.
Sleek greenhouse with oversized rear quarter glass panel which results in a triangular D-pillar and a neat waistline that runs very close to window line, characterize the people carrier’s profile. The rear fascia would receive edgy combination lights and possibly a chrome highlighted license plate enclosure.
If at all there is something to find fault with in the current gen car, it has to be the dated interior design. New Innova Crysta has addressed this with a modern and richly equipped interior. The dashboard gets a touchscreen infotainment system, new instrument console with a comprehensive MID, automatic climate control, multiple airbags. The interiors also feature a better storage solution. You can store as many as 20 bottles (1 liter each) in the cubby holes, glove box, doors, etc.
Speakinga about seating, like the current gen car, both 7-seat (with captain seats for middle row) and 8-seat configurations are be on offer. Seats are redesigned to offer more room and better comfort.
