2016 Toyota Innova is likely to be launched in India in late 2015 or early 2016. Once launched, it will rival Chevrolet Enjoy, Maruti Ertiga, Tata Aria, Honda Mobilio and Nissan Evalia. It receives a host of modifications to its exterior design and interior layout.
Recently, a 2016 Toyota Innova test mule was spotted sporting LED DRLs. Apart from this, new bumpers (front and rear) and grille were also noted. Spy video of the new Toyota Innova on test reveal that the model will receive a host of changes while the car also seems to have grown in length.
Changes on the 2016 Toyota Innova could also include new body panels, a sharper D pillar design and new rear quarter glass. A multi layered boot lid, new tail lamps and rear bumper could also form a part of the exterior changes. Interiors will be seen in more premium materials with exclusive features while dashboard is redesigned. On board comforts abound on this new Toyota Innova which will continue to be based on the ladder and frame chassis with same engine configurations.
Length of the 2016 Toyota Innova seems to have increased as per spy pics circulating over the internet. Besides a new rear door design, the new Innova also receives a longer section for third row seats which contributes to more interior space.
Despite a host of competitors in its class, the Toyota Innova continues to be a best seller, with sales averaging around 5,430 units per month. Once launched, the 2016 Toyota Innova could command a price between INR 9-15 lakhs.
