Going by available spy photos snapped while 2016 Toyota Innova was cruising along Bangalore streets, various updates are evident on the Toyota prime model. A well designed front grille flanked by new headlamps, restyled tail lamps and its new TNGA platform were noted deviating from the current generation Toyota Innova which is based on Hilux platform.

The use of TNGA platform, which works much in the same way as VW’s MQB platform, will allow the company to share components amongst its other cars. Sporting a spacious cabin and high end features, the new Toyota Innova will come in with a range of diesel engines currently under development with automatic transmission gearbox.
