2016 Volvo S60 Cross Country is set to create a new niche in the company lineup as it boasts of outstanding features, higher ground clearance and the capacity to tackle the most aggressive of terrain. Sharing its underpinnings with the S60 sedan, Volvo S60 Cross Country measures is 4,635 mm long, 2,097 mm wide, and 1,484 mm tall. It sports high profile tyres and ride height that sees an increase of 65mm.
Exteriors come in a two toned color scheme, receives a host of updates as compared to that seen on the S60 sedan. This includes front and rear skid plates, side skirts and wheel arches in black plastic. 2016 Volvo S60 Cross Country will be presented with choice of 18” and 19” wheels fitted with high profile tyres and will also receive options of all wheel and front wheel drive versions.
Pegged as the world’s first crossover saloon, the S60 Cross Country, on launch, will receive same engine options as seen on the S60. This will include a T5 all wheel driver specification with 250 hp power in the US, 254 hp in Europe and 249hp in Russia. In Europe a D4 2.0 and D4 2.4 diesel will also be offered. Sales commence from this summer while the company has not disclosed any price details.
