2016 VW Vento spied with new headlight cluster, sporty black alloys

Features a new headlight cluster with twin projector headlamps and LED DRLs.

Volkswagen India is getting ready to give the new Vento a minor facelift. Seen here are the new spy shots of the new 2016 VW Vento, which was spied testing on the Mumbai-Pune highway.

The headlight cluster of the new VW Vento is inspired by the new Jetta which was launched in India last year. It consists of twin projector headlamps with integrated LED DRLs. Apart from the new headlight cluster, there are the new black alloys wheels on offer. Overall, the car does look more sporty.

VW India last updated the Vento in 2015. Exported to over 35 countries, Vento is one of the highest exported cars from India. Time and again, VW India has been spotted testing export-spec variants here in India. It is possible that this model year 2016 update is only for a select export market, and not for India.

But, it could also be possible that the variant is for India. If that is true, there are high chances of it to be launched in the coming weeks. VW India had revealed earlier that they will launch new editions of Polo and Vento during the festive season.
