2016 Yamaha M-Slaz is launched as Xabre 150 in Indonesia.

Sporting styling cues borrowed from the Yamaha MT series, 2016 Yamaha M-Slaz (Xabre) was launched in Indonesia by none other than brand ambassador Valentino Rossi at IDR 29.8 million (INR 1.46 lakhs).

The new Yamaha Xabre measures 1,959 mm in length, 795 mm in width, 1,065 mm in height, 1,350 mm in wheelbase. It has 164mm of ground clearance and a 805mm seat height. Sporting extensive styling and offered in three colors of Black Dagger, Gunmetal Katana and Silver Clarent, the new Yamaha Xabre is being presented at the IIMS 2016 sporting striking similarities to the Thailand model M-Slaz with the only differences being in paint and graphics.

2016 Yamaha Xabre 150 is powered by a 150cc liquid cooled, SOHC single cylinder engine mated to a 6 speed gearbox. The engine is capable of 16 hp peak power and 14.3 Nm torque. Fitted with single brake discs in the front and at the rear, the new Xabre based on Yamaha Deltabox frame. It also receives a 10.2 liter fuel tank and has a kerb weight of 135 kgs.

Features on board 2016 Yamaha Xabre 150 includes full LED headlights and instrument cluster. Known as Yamaha M-Slaz in Thailand and Yamaha Xabre in Indonesia, the 2016 Yamaha Xabre is expected to be launched in India later this year. If launched, price could be at around INR 1.35 lakh.
