Transmission is taken care by a six speed manual gearbox.
Speaking about the new special edition R15 which was launched in Indonesia, it is seen with new livery of matte grey, and that of a dual tone white and red. Engine specs remains unchanged, but it does get a race tuned Ohlins rear monoshock.
Based on the R15, Yamaha has also launched a new naked motorcycle which is christened M-Slaz in Thailand. Compared to the R15, which is tuned to perform on a race-track, the M-Slaz is tuned to offer best in class riding dynamics when taking on the urban jungle.
