Initially launched in 2012, 3rd generation Audi A3 facelift has now been detailed. 2017 Audi A3 facelift gets refreshed both where exterior design and interior makeup is concerned. Expected to be launched in India sometime in 2017, where only the sedan and cabriolet variants are on sale.
Sold in international markets in three-door hatchback, four-door sedan and five-door Sportback body styles, the Audi A3 facelift can be expected to go on sale in international markets in May this year.
2017 Audi A3 facelift gets new headlamps, a broader and more angular front grille and Xenon lights. Set to be introduced in five new exterior colors of Ara Blue, Cosmic Blue, Nano Grey, Tango Red, and Vegas Yellow, buyers will be able to select from a total of 12 exterior color options.
Interiors of 2017 Audi A3 Facelift are seen with a host of infotainment and safety features. These include a 12.3-inch high-resolution screen and 7-inch pop-up screen with MMI interface while Apple CarPlay and Android Auto System are also expected to make their way into the new Audi A3. Where safety is concerned, it gets adaptive cruise control, active lane assist, emergency braking system, pedestrian detection system and traffic jam assist.
Power to the new 2017 Audi A3 Facelift will come from a 1.0 liter turbocharged three cylinder petrol engine offering 115 bhp power and 200 Nm torque and a 2.0 liter turbocharged four cylinder petrol engine capable of 190 hp and 320 Nm torque. A 1.6-liter diesel engine offering 110 bhp peak power will also be on offer on the new Audi A3. Apart from these, the e-Tron and g-Tron variants will also be on offer.
