2017 Audi TT RS Coupe and Roadster unveiled, launch in Europe later this fall

The new Audi TT RS Coupe and Roadster versions are on display at Beijing Motor Show.

On show at the 2016 Beijing Motor Show being held from April 25, 2016 to May 4, 2016, 2017 Audi TT RS Coupe and Roadster has made global debut.  

2017 Audi TT RS Coupe and Roadster are powered by a 2.5 liter turbocharged 5 cylinder engine. The engine offers 400 hp peak power and 354 lb/ft torque between 1,700 to 5,850 rpm. The engine is mated to 7-speed dual clutch transmission which delivers power to all four wheels via Quattro All Wheel Drive system.

Acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph is achieved in 3.7 seconds where the Coupe version is concerned while it stands at 3.9 seconds on the Roadster. Top speed on both versions stands at 250 kmph.

2017 Audi TT RS Coupe weighs 3,174 pounds. This means it is about 22 pounds heavier than its earlier counterpart. Audi TT RS Roadster stands at 3,373 pounds while its soft top takes 10 seconds to open at speeds of 49 kmph. Both versions are offered in Nardo Gray and Catalunya Red exterior colors while a hexagonal single-frame grille and Matrix LED headlights are also evident.

Interiors boast of various upgrades with a 12.3” Virtual Cockpit and lightweight sports seats. A multifunction steering wheel with 2 satellite buttons for Audi drive select system and engine push start button are also on offer along with MMI navigation plus and MMI touch features which are offered as options.

Slated for sales across Europe this fall, the Audi TT RS Coupe and Roadster will be priced at €66,400 (INR 49,82,724) and €69,200 (INR 52,09,271) respectively. Sales across global markets will follow thereafter.
