2016 BMW 7 Series derives its design from Vision Future Luxury concept and looks more elegant than the outgoing model. Judicial usage of chrome highlights the luxury limousine’s salient design features.
New 7er is the first car in its segment which combines industrially manufactured Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) with steel and aluminium. Net result is a strong body structure which is up to 130 kg lighter than its predecessor. The chassis is cushioned by a standard 2-axle air suspension with automatic self leveling and Dynamic Damper Control. Other noteworthy electronic gadgetry include Integral Active Steering System, Executive Drive Pro, Remote Control Parking and a whole array of safety related assistance systems.

Under the hood, 2016 BMW 7 Series gets extensively revised V8 petrol and a family of new gen straight-six petrol and diesel motors with improved efficiency. Improved 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission is standard across the range while the saloon can also be specified with xDrive all-wheel drive system.
New 7 Series will go on sale in Europe later this year and it could be one of the several new product launches lined up for India in 2015 or early 2016.
