2016 Hyundai Elantra Sport is priced from $21,650 (INR 14,46,328) for the 6 speed MT variant. It receives a 1.6 liter Turbo-GDI engine offering 201 hp power and 195 lb/ft torque. Pricing goes up to $22,750 (INR15,19,813) for the 7 speed DCT with paddle shifters.
Touted as the most dynamic Elantra ever, Hyundai Elantra Sport is gets a sportier exterior with new LED daytime running lights, a unique front grille design and red ‘turbo’ badging is also evident while at the rear, distinctive LED tail lamps and amber turn signals are evident.
Interiors of the 2017 Hyundai Elantra Sport receive quality materials and a black and red color scheme. Interiors are well equipped with heated leather seats as standard, keyless entry, 7” touchscreen display and Apple CarPlay with Android Auto.
The base model receives multi-link rear suspension, higher spring and damper capabilities and revised steering along with 18” alloy wheels. The top spec model is seen with added features with an 8” display, navigation, Infinity sound system, Hyundai’s BlueLink connectivity and a host of safety features to include Blind Spot Detection with Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Lane Change Assist.
