2017 Toyota Corolla facelift revealed in official photos


Half a century and 44 million unit sales later, the success of the Toyota Corolla continues to reach new heights.

2017 Toyota Corolla facelift has been revealed with striking exterior and interior updates. It is on sale from $18,500 (INR 12,35,244) onwards.

In the US, 2017 Toyota Corolla facelift is offered in 8 trim levels and with 10 new exterior color options while it continues to be powered by the same 1.8 liter four cylinder engine with CVT tweaked to offer 140 hp peak power as against 132 hp on its earlier counterpart.


On the exterior, 2017 Toyota Corolla facelift gets a new front grille and redesigned headlights. Trims L, LE and LE Eco receive Bi-LED headlights while SE, XSE and XLE receive complex LED headlights. Reversing camera, 16”/17” wheels depending on trim levels, sun roof, Smart Key system and Entune Audio Plus are also a part of its features.

Interiors boast of new color schemes in Almond, Ash/Dark Gray and Black/Brown while Softex sports seats are done up in Vivid Blue, Orange Zest, and Black premium fabric. On board infotainment is via Bluetooth connectivity and Entune Audio while top end variants receive Entune Premium Audio system and a 7” touchscreen.


Safety is a prime concern aboard the 2017 Toyota Corolla with added safety features that include Toyota Safety Sense-P technology, Integrated Lane Departure Warning, Steering Assist, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Pre-Collision System and Pedestrian Protection.

The Japanese automaker races ahead with regard to model year 2022 targets for vehicle safety. Toyota Safety Sense suite is set to be incorporated in all Toyota and Lexus models by the end of 2017.
