2018 Hero Super Splendor, Passion Pro and Passion XPro unveil; Price to be announced in January

Hero MotoCorp Ltd. (HMCL) has unveiled three new motorcycles – 2018 Hero Super Splendor, 110cc Passion Pro and 110cc Passion XPRO. Starting January 2018, all three bikes will be made available via a phased launch across India. Hero MotoCorp has a stronghold in the 100-125cc segments with Splendor, Passion, HF Deluxe, Glamour, and Super Splendor variants.

Hero MotoCorp has unveiled three new motorcycles today – the new Super Splendor, new Passion and new Passion X Pro.

110 cc Passion Pro is viable with convenience, safety and utility features, and a modern appeal for best-in-class performance. The BS-IV compliant 110cc TOD (Torque on Demand) engine returns maximum power output of 7.0 (9.4) kW (PS) @ 7500 rpm and maximum torque of 9.0 Nm @ 5500 rpm. Armed with i3S (Idle-stop-start system), Passion Pro offers 12% more power and torque than its previous gen, and goes from 0-60 km/h in 7.45 seconds.

It features a new muscular fuel tank with flush type cap, and a signature rear tail lamp. Other features include a Digital-Analog meter with digital Fuel Gauge, trip meter, All Time Headlamp On (AHO) and side stand indicator. Both Drum and Disc variants are available. 110 cc Passion Pro is available in five colours – Sports red; Black monotone; Force silver metallic; Heavy grey metallic; Frost blue metallic.

110cc Passion XPRO features a fuel tank with flush fuel lid, dynamic shrouds, sporty rear cowl, dual-tone mirrors, LED tail lamp, and Digital-Analog meter with digital Fuel Gauge, and All Time Headlamp On (AHO). It’s power and output figures are the same as passion Pro. Dual tone colour variants: Sports red with black; Black with sports red; Black with techno blue; Black with heavy grey; and Force silver with black.

2018 Hero Super Splendor is powered by an Air-Cooled, 4-stroke single Cylinder OHC 125cc TOD (Torque-on-Demand) engine mated with Hero i3S technology. Maximum power output of 8.4 (11.4) kW (PS) @ 7500 rpm and maximum torque of 11 Nm @6000 rpm is reported. In its new avatar it offers 27% more power and 6% more torque than its previous gen. The bike reaches a maximum speed of 94 km/h.

2018 Hero Super Splendor utility and comfort features: All Time Headlamp On (AHO), Side Stand Indicator, wider Rear Tyre, updated seat profile and side Reflector, large under seat storage and additional storage in front under fuel tank.

Style inputs: Chrome finish Muffler, sleek Tail Light, silver finish Side Cover, Trapezoidal Headlamp and Modern Graphics. Color choices: Black with purple graphics; Black with Fiery Red graphics; Black with silver graphics, Candy Blazing Red; and Heavy Grey with Blue graphics.

Hero Xtreme 200 S is also scheduled for launch in 2018.
