Honda Cars India’s newest launch, the All New Amaze has gotten off to a pretty good start. For HCIL, new Amaze has met with instantaneous success and has coveted top spot as best-selling new model ever.
In the two decades that HCIL has been operational in India, new Honda Amaze is the first vehicle to breach the 30,000 sales landmark in 3 months of launch. Consistent high sales volume has helped Honda Cars India report cumulative sales growth of 12.5 percent through April – July 2018.

Petrol CVT and Diesel CVT account for more than 30% percent of total new Amaze sales. In its new avatar, India is the company’s first market where sales has commenced and has been well received across Tier 1, 2 and 3 markets.
New Amaze sales now account for upward of 51 percent of monthly HCIL sales, and the CVT diesel plays a substantial role. The company is expected to introduce CVT diesel option for the top end VX trim at an ex sh price tag of roundabout Rs 10 lakh.
Since the start of August 2018, the 2018 Amaze akin to most vehicles is being offered at a higher price than launch price. This equates to a bill heftier by upto Rs 25,00 across Amaze E, S, V and VX trims.
