New Honda Amaze prices hiked – New petrol, diesel price list of Maruti Dzire rival

First showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo, all new 2018 Honda Amaze was launched in India in May this year. Manufactured at the company’s Tapukara plant, the car has become Honda’s best selling car ever since launch – registering average sales of 10,000 units per month.

New Honda Amaze is offered in four trim levels of E, S, V and VX. Five colour options will be on offer. It rivals Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Xcent, Tata Tigor, Volkswagen Ameo, Tata Zest. As of today, it is the most feature rich, spacious and fuel efficient car in the segment. From today, prices have been increased by upto Rs 25,000.

Honda Amaze comes with a 3 year / unlimited kms warranty. To compare this with rivals, Maruti Dzire offers 2 year / 40,000 kms, Hyundai Xcent 3 year/1 lakh kms, VW Ameo 2 year/unlimited kms, Tata Tigor 2 year/75,000 kms, Ford Aspire 2 year/1 lakh kms. Engine specifications on the 2018 Honda Amaze remain the same as seen on its first gen model. The 1.2 liter petrol and 1.5 liter diesel engines come mated to a standard 5 speed manual transmission though this time round there will also be a CVT option, offered on both engines.

Petrol efficiency is rated at 19.5 kmpl for manual variant, 19 kmpl for CVT. Diesle engine manual variant delivers 27.4 kmpl while CVT delivers 23.8 kmpl. Speaking about features and variants, base variant of Honda Amaze, E trim gets dual front airbags, all power windows, power steering, rear parking sensors, front 12V accessories socket, ISOFIX child seat anchors, ABS, EBD, day and night rear view mirrors and 4.0 cm multi info display.

Honda Amaze S will be seen with body color and power folding wing mirrors with turn indicators, full wheel covers, 2DIN audio system, AUX, Bluetooth and USB controls, steering mounted controls, central locking, power door locks, keyless entry and rear 12V accessory socket. This S trim also gets height adjustable driver seat, rear arm rests, cup holders, tilt steering and adjustable front seat headrests.

Honda Amaze V will be seen with LED DRLs, front fog lamps, 15” alloy wheels, keyless entry with push button start, automatic climate controls, rear defogger, 7.0cm multi information display and paddle shifters.

Top of the line Honda Amaze VX gets a 7” infotainment system with capacitive touchscreen, GPS navigation, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, reverse camera and cruise control with steering mounted voice control. Manual variant is offered on all four trims whereas the CVT variant is only offered wtih S and V trim.
