2018 Honda Jazz arrives at dealer yard – Reveals new LED taillight
The new Honda Jazz will come in with exterior and interior updates while engine specs remain unchanged.
Following successful launch of the new generation Honda Amaze subcompact sedan, Honda India now gears up for launch of the Jazz facelift on 19th July.
Showcased at 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show, the new Honda Jazz will be seen with a host of exterior and interior features while engine specifications remain unchanged.
The soon to be launched Honda Jazz receives a modern touch with a new design language. It gets an angular front fascia with a thick horizontal slat grille and mesh grille on air dam. It also sports flared wheel arches and larger windows.
Interiors are also refreshed with all black upholstery and a new infotainment system with Digipad 2.0 loaded with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto which will only be on offer on the top spec model. Other standard features on the top spec model will include 2 airbags, ABS, climate control with touch panel, steering mounted audio controls and electrically folding wing mirrors along with a rear view camera.
Honda Jazz continues to be powered by the same engine lineup as seen in its earlier counterpart. The 1.2 liter i-VTEC petrol offers 90 bhp power and 10 Nm torque and 1.5-liter i-DTEC diesel motor is capable of 100 bhp power and 200 Nm torque. Both these engines will get mated to either a 5 speed manual or CVT automatic.
Prices are expected to start from Rs 5.30 lakhs for the base variant, going up to Rs 8.5 lakhs for the top spec model. Once launched, the new Honda Jazz will compete with Hyundai Elite i20 and Maruti Suzuki Baleno in the large hatchback segment. Below are the variant-wise features of the new Honda Jazz.
