Hyundai i30 N Line is set to go on sale across the UK from 3rd September 2018. To be offered in two trim levels – N Line and N Line +, the i30 N Line will be priced from £21,255 (Rs 18,89,410) for the manual variant going up to £22,255 (Rs 19,79,048) for the auto variant. N Line + variants in manual and auto will be priced £2,000 (Rs 1,77,785) over their N Line counterparts.
Hyundai i30 N Line gets an aggressive stance with silver accents, special badging on front wings and twin exhaust set up at the rear. It gets LED tail lamps and sits on 18” Fastback alloy wheels fitted with Michelin Pilot PS4 tyres.
Interiors are seen in sports seats, leather steering wheel and N branded gear knob. It also receives black headlining, an 8” touchscreen system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Hyundai i30 N Line + receives LED headlamps while interiors get electrically adjustable heated sports seats in leather and swede, a heated steering wheel and dual zone climate controls. In terms of safety features, both the Hyundai i30 N Line and N Line + receive lane departure warning, lane keep assist, autonomous emergency braking, hill start assist and smart device integration and DAB. Slightly lowered suspension along with tweaked damper rating will significantly improve handling.
Exterior color options include solid colors of Engine Red and Polar White at no additional cost while Champion Blue, Stellar Blue, White Sand, Micron Grey, Olivine Grey, Fiery Red, Platinum Silver and Phantom Black are metallic or pearl finishes and entail an additional cost of £585 (INR 52,000).
Engine option on offer is a 1.4 liter turbo GDi petrol engine which delivers 140 PS. The new Hyundai i30 N Line will compete against the Ford ST-Line and Vauxhall GSi in the UK.
Spied on test in India, Hyundai is most likely planning to launch this premium hatchback in India next year. Here, it will be priced more expensive than the Verna, but cheaper than the Elantra in the company line-up. Don’t expect all features seen on the UK spec model to come to India, else the car will get even more expensive than the Skoda Octavia.
