What has been a wait for a while ends now as 2018 KTM 200 Duke ABS is now available at a launch price of Rs 1,60,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).
The 200 Duke returns 25 PS power and features a trellis frame, aluminum swingarm and upside down suspension from WP. The newly added Bosch ABS will be an added feature that accounts for improved and controlled stopping power.
Amit Nandi, President (Probiking) at Bajaj Auto Ltd. Said, “With the addition of ABS our customers will now have choice of both ABS and non-ABS versions on the KTM 200 Duke.”
KTM 200 Duke ABS is now available at company showrooms in 3 colours – Orange, White and Black. Company dealerships will continue to sell the KTM 200 Duke non-ABS variant at a price of Rs. 1,51,757 (ex-showroom Delhi). The price difference between KTM 200 Duke ABS and KTM 200 Duke non-ABS variant is under 10k at introduction.
Apart from the KTM Duke 200, there are reports which state that KTM is getting ready to launch an even cheaper motorcycle, in the form of Duke 125. Some dealers have also started taking unofficial bookings. Launch is expected in a few weeks, with delivery to start from next month.
Already spied on test, the India-spec KTM Duke 125 will not get new gen features of Duke 390 like the digital touchscreen. Instead it will get the same speedo system from Duke 200 to keep costs low. It will also not get the LED headlight system. Price is expected to be in the Rs 1.2 lakh range. ABS too will be on offer.
