Launched – KTM Duke 250 BS6 price Rs 2 L, BS6 Duke 390 Rs 2.52 L

KTM Duke 390 and Duke 250 have become the first two motorcycles from the Austrian company to get updated to BS6 norms in India.

With Indian auto industry getting ready to implement BS6 emission norms on all vehicles from 31st March 2020, more and more manufacturers are now updating their products to BS6 standards. Be it cars or bikes, all new vehicles sold from 1st April 2020, will need to have a BS6 engine. RTO’s across India will stop registering BS4 vehicles post the deadline.

KTM has now launched their first BS6 motorcycles, in the form of Duke 390 Duke 250. Prices of the two motorcycles have been marginally increased because of this update. Below is the detailed price list of BS6 KTM motorcycles.

BS6 KTM Duke 390, 250 prices

Ex-showroom price of KTM Duke 250 BS6 is Rs 2 lakh, while that of KTM Duke 390 is Rs 2.52 lakhs. This is a price hike of about Rs 4k, when compared to the BS4 prices of the two motorcycles. On road price of the two motorcycles is Rs 2.35 lakh and Rs 3.06 lakh. In the coming days, KTM will also be updating their other motorcycles on offer in India, to BS6 norms.

Apart from updating the two motorcycles to BS6, KTM India has also launched new colour schemes. Old colour schemes have been replaced by this new dual tone colour option, with new graphics. Engine specs and features on offer remains same as before.

Earlier this week, KTM launched the 390 Adventure in India. Priced from Rs 2.99 lakhs, launch of this motorcycle was much awaited by motorcycle enthusiasts in the country. Bookings of 390 ADV are now open across India, while deliveries are expected to start by the end of this month.

Sales of KTM India are expected to get a boost, thanks to the new 390 Adventure. Speaking about sales, for KTM, it is their 125 cc and the 250cc segment motorcycles which bring in more volume numbers. In the future, KTM has plans to launch 250 Adventure as well as 125 Adventure motorcycles to increase sales. KTM 250 Adventure already has made its global debut, and has also been spied on test in India.
