2018 Renault Duster interiors revealed for the first time

2018 Renault Duster is slated to make its public debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show later this month. Ahead of that, the company has officially revealed the images of the car.

This compact SUV will get some changes to its front and rear which will now be seen in a two tone color scheme adding a more premium touch. The steering wheel is in a four spoke design as is also seen on the Dacia Sandero. Changes are also seen on dashboard, central console, door panels and switch gear which sports a new look.

New infotainment, connectivity and technology features are also on offer. The car now supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The infotainment system will be positioned higher with better access for driver and switches on central console will also have reading and symbols facing up for easier viewing.

New gen Renault Duster will also receive some external updates with a wider front grille, new and larger headlamps and tail lamps pushed more towards the corners. It will sit on new 17” wheels in a brilliant orange color scheme.

In global markets, new Renault Duster will continue to be powered by a 1.2 liter TC3 petrol and 1.5 liter dCi diesel engine. As per markets where the 2018 Dacia Duster is being sold, 1.5 liter H2K petrol, 1.6 liter 16V petrol and 2.0 liter 16V petrol engines will also be offered. In India, it will get the 1.5 liter petrol, 1.5 liter diesel options, same as today. It will be offered in 4×2 and 4×4 variants along with manual as well as AMT transmission options.

Set for launch in the UK in Spring of 2018, the new Dacia Duster could launch in Europe later this year with entry into markets in India only in 2018. Price will be in the range of INR 8.5 to 13.5 lakh.
